Collaborative Blog EDT 3470 Local History

Woo. Last thing to get right guys! It's wrapping up!! So, we each need to make one new thing for the website DUE June 24th that hasn't already been made. Let's all make sure to communicate what we are making so that we don't duplicate something. DUE June 17th I think some cool ideas could be food(recipe) from home, or maybe some local animal pictures/story. We'll figure it out. Lets finalize that concept map. Now that you all have had access to the first concept map, I think we should just go back into it and finalize what we have done so it is a little neater. DUE June 24th Great job this semester, it has been fun working with all of you!!

Wooo.. Audacity!!  DUE JUNE 17th So, do you think we can talk for 3-5 minutes? This should be a breeze. Lets use what we used each individual for our lesson plans this week as our podcast topic for this week. Lets have our portions of a script done and in the comments ASAP so we can get an order of how we are going to send this file. From the instructions, it seems that two group members.. three in our case.. send their portions to another who will add the audio tracks. Who would like to be the trustworthy member who gets to edit our voices together? Yo!  Due JUNE 3rd I hope everyone is having a great memorial weekend! Just wanted to get everyone thinking about what kind of lesson they want under our subject this week). The choices we have are... I found that all three could be used to help better our unit project. I really liked the second and third websites because they provided history about downtown Kalamazoo and also some history on fun events that happened right here in Kalamazoo. the first website was from Kalamazoo City Hall and was quite accurate. I think all three of these can really be great in our website collection!

Our Google Map relates to our Virtual Pen Pal Lesson Plan. We choose this map to simply show the distance that our class and their ePenPals would be making when they send each other letters. Beijing and Kalamazoo are all the way around the world from each other. Our students would be learning so many fun and exciting things about the local history of those students who live in China.
